I must admit I was a bit jealous of Jeremy yesterday because in the mailbox was a very special postcard with his name on it. He was a lucky recipient of a super limited Postcrossing meeting card from France. Meetups happen all over the world and postcrossers get together to send out cards and share the love of writing. Often all those who attend a gathering or meetup all sign the back of the postcards being sent out. As you can see, Jeremy had a lot of people sign/stamp his card.
If there is enough interest perhaps we will host a meet-up in the future. For those interested in learning more about Postcrossing, send us a note or check out the website www.postcrossing.com. It is also a great hobby for kids!
I've been also making more envelopes (it's so much fun!) and I got these beautiful papers from my friend Lindsay and had to use them. The envelopes are double sided and the patterns are very classy fall/Halloween themed from The Planner Society. I also made some journal cards out of the pieces I cut off (another addiction). Also pictured are some of the Halloween stickers I got in my sticker club yesterday and some washi tape I added to my collection recently.
I've also added some new envelope packs to our Etsy Shop this morning which includes papers from past Planner Society kits.
I sent out an order yesterday in a handmade envelope and the mailman at work was happy to see something new and exciting in our outgoing mail. He said it brightened his day and he told me he really liked the envelope :) Isn't it wonderful, something as simple as that.
